I just got a bill from Discover for $79.18 which was for the first mo. & installation. I signed up for the $29.95 pkg. How can this be, I cannot afford this, what can I do.

I just signed up, an upgrade to choice extra. Some of the channels it says I get, say I haven’t paid for them. Is you “channels I get” not up to date or is my service not correct. A lot of the channels are shopping, pay for services, not quite what I was expecting, or sports. A lot are DTV. How do I know when you put real channels on them?

I have had 4 service calls to my mountain home trying to make sure the tv works when i am there or the house is rented. This past weekend, the tv did not work. I need a point person to handle this and guarantee service or you will leave me no option but to discontinue service. please reply asap.

When I do Guide and select channel 355 CNBCHD, I just get a blank screen. I believe this is the only channel with this problem. It’s worked fine for 18 months. What gives?

The main TV downstairs in the living room has no picture – we first noticed it yesterday at noon – the message is weak or no siganl. The bedroom TV is fine. I’ve tried un-pluging, pushing the reset button, removing the card but no luck.

to all you folks above and to DIRECT TV
I have been trying to contact direct tv for the last hour only to receive a lot of b s on the telelphone.
What caused problem is that I sent my check in late so I called and asked for an extention which was agreed upon.
However now I wish to contact them to tell them I am having problems with my remote control and see if they will replace it. Well all I am receiving is B S recordings and all this because of this is the second time I am late in paying my bill. YES I HAVE BEEN WITH THE SINCE 2004.
They do not give a dam about you only thing is they want there money no matter whether the problem is you or they THEMSELVES.
Oh you ask why do I keep Direct TV – because they have E W T N.
Would I recommend any one to Direct TV hell no, they do not care about me so why should I care about them. $100 my recommendtion is worth more than $100, if I feel they are not any good I would not recommend any one for any amount of money.

I am writing to you to report an unsafe DIRECT TV driver. Of this I am sure, it was a service vehicle with your logo emblazoned on the back and side. Highway 26 in San Joaquin County, CA, 2 miles east of Escalon-Belota Rd, going East, at 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2009.
I am sick and tired of being bullied on the roads. I was going the speed limit, and I really don’t care that the driver passed me, but tailgating is rude and totally unnecessary. I don’t play games: speeding up, slowing down, slamming on my brakes, etc. I just drive, safely. I wonder if the driver realized how little time he gains by driving 5-10 miles an hour faster for the 10 miles he would have been following me. I will be forwarding this letter to the California Highway Patrol just to establish a record. Your driver is a nuisance and a poor representative for your company.

I wouldn’t recommend DIRECT TV to my worst enemy. Their equipment sucks and if you try to get it fixed they give all kinds of BS.
Just today another 90 minutes tied up trying to get my reception back.
If you use a cell phone to call I recommend that you upgrade the minutes in your plan because you will need them.
